Ken Lockie joined the Canadian Army as an Infantry soldier, graduating from the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) Battle School in 1983.  During his career, he served as Infantryman and progressed up to a Section Commander.  He served at various military Bases and deployed overseas on numerous occasions on operational tours with the PPCLI to various locations around the world.  During his career, he developed an expertise in organization, logistics, training and command.  His final military posting was to CFB Suffield G3 Branch.

Throughout his career, he provided advice and guidance to the Brigade and Battalion units with an emphasis on strategic planning and training as an Instructor and team leader.  Over the years, he acquired expertise in operational deployment, planning operations, weapons and tactics, support and personnel management.  In February 2016, he retired at the rank of Sergeant (Senior Non-commission rank) from the Canadian Armed Forces after 32 years of loyal service.  He went on to serve the military as a non-public employee working for the Personnel Support Program cadre at CFB Suffield.

In January 2017, Ken joined the ST/OPS Tactical Training Canada team as Logistics and Training Coordinator.  In this capacity, he provides expertise in the logistics, planning, purchasing and training coordination to aid in the support to military personnel, law enforcement agencies, and Federal Governmental Departments with various products and services.
